FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What language services does NEXSOZ provide?

NEXSOZ provides professional In-Person Interpretation, Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), and document translation services. We support both scheduled and recurring assignments and work with organizations that need language support for appointments, meetings, public services, programs, documents, and ongoing operations.

What organizations and industries do you serve?

We primarily support healthcare providers, government and public agencies, educational institutions, nonprofits and community organizations and professional services. Our services can be used for individual appointments as well as ongoing organizational language-access needs.

What languages do you support?

For OPI, VRI, and translation services, NEXSOZ can support more than 100 languages, depending on the service and assignment requirements.

For in-person interpretation in the DMV area, we have strong coverage in languages including Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Persian/Farsi, Urdu, Turkish, Ukrainian and Spanish. Additional languages and dialects may also be available depending on location, scheduling, and interpreter availability.

If you need a specific language, contact us and we will confirm availability.

How quickly can services be arranged?

Timing depends on the language, service type, location, and interpreter availability.

OPI and VRI can often be arranged more quickly and may be available for short-notice needs. In-person assignments generally benefit from advance scheduling, particularly for less commonly requested languages or specialized settings.

For urgent requests, contact us as early as possible and our team will confirm available options.

Do you provide urgent or after-hours interpretation?

Urgent and after-hours support is available, particularly through OPI and VRI, depending on the language and interpreter availability.

For in-person assignments, we will make every effort to identify available qualified interpreters, but advance notice provides the best opportunity to secure the appropriate professional for your assignment.

How do I request an interpreter or language service?

Submit a Request Language Support form with the language, service type, date, time, location, estimated duration, and any important information about the assignment.

Our team will review your request, confirm availability, coordinate the appropriate language professional, and provide pricing or additional information as needed.

Organizations with recurring or more complex language needs can also schedule a consultation with our team.

Can NEXSOZ provide recurring or ongoing language support?

Yes. NEXSOZ can support organizations with both one-time assignments and recurring language needs.

For example, healthcare providers may need interpreters for recurring patient appointments, while government agencies, schools, nonprofits, and other organizations may require ongoing support for meetings, programs, community services, or multilingual communications.

We can discuss your anticipated volume, languages, locations, scheduling requirements, and preferred service options to develop an appropriate arrangement.

Can NEXSOZ supplement our existing language-services provider?

Yes. You do not need to replace your existing language-services provider to work with NEXSOZ.

We can provide supplemental coverage when your primary provider cannot fill an assignment, when you need additional local in-person capacity, when a particular language is difficult to source, or when demand temporarily increases.

This gives organizations additional flexibility and helps reduce gaps in language access.

Are interpreters qualified for healthcare settings?

Yes. For healthcare assignments, NEXSOZ provides qualified medical interpreters matched to the requirements of the assignment.

Our medical interpreter qualifications include 40-hour medical interpreter training, language proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, confidentiality requirements, interpreter ethics, and professional conduct.

We match interpreters based on the language, setting, qualifications, location, and specific needs of the assignment.

How much do interpretation and translation services cost?

Pricing depends on factors such as the service type, language, location, duration, scheduling requirements, document length, subject matter, and turnaround time.

For organizations with ongoing or contractual language service needs, we agree on rates and service terms in advance based on the anticipated scope, volume, languages, and service requirements. For one-time or individual assignments, pricing is provided based on the specific request.

Submit a Request Language Support form with your requirements, and our team will confirm availability and provide the applicable pricing.

NEXSOZ provides professional interpretation and translation services for government agencies, health care providers, education, nonprofits, and social services. We make communication clear, accurate, and accessible.
